I have just had both ears syringed to clear wax but right ear is not 100%. When I blow my nose I hear crackling in the right ear. What could this be. The nurse said oith ears were clear of wax.

It is normal to hear crackling in normal ears if you blow your nose with enough force to move your eardrums.

There is a tube (Eustachian tube) connecting the back of your mouth with your middle ear. This allows air to be on the inside part of the ear drum so when it has air both sides it can vibrate and transmit the sound waves to the organ of hearing (cochlea).

If your hearing is not 100% you might need to see a doctor and possible be booked for audiometry tests.

I have the same problem, Dr. says possible tumor behind eardrum!!had testscannot hear some noises at all?Have had ears cleaned so many times I could fill swimming pool!!nothing does any good except I have dry skin from cleaning out ears!good luck!!

sounds like the nurse made a pigs ear out of your treatment or your telling porkies
