Differences:
For respiration:
1. energy is liberated.
2. oxygen is used, and carbon dioxied and water are given off.
3. A catabolic process, resulting in the breakdown of carbohydrate molecules.
4. Occurs at all times in all cells, independent of chlorophyll and sunlight.
5. Results in loss of mass.
Photosynthesis:
1. Energy is stored in carbohydrate molecules.
2. Carbon dioxide and water are used while oxygen is given off.
3. An Anabolic process, resulting in the building up of carbohydrate molecules.
4. occurs only in cells containing chlorophyll and in the presence of sunlight.
5. results in a gain of dry mass.
Hope this will help you.

*B* because A, the two pathways are not a reversal they essentially do opposite things in very unique ways C plants under go respiration that is how they make ATP D photosynthesis does not make ATP but simple sugars E is backwards That leaves B photosynthesis makes organic molecules and respiration degrades them and forms ATP

both are life processes
in photosynthesis food is prepared by taking in CO2 from the atmosphere and oxygen is given out
while in respiration oxygen is taken in and CO2 is given out

respiration is the process in which carbon dioxide is taken in and oxygen out............
as well as photosynthesis is the process of food manufacturing.....
it can be in any form........
through minerals........
water..........
carbon dioxide....
and rays-es from the sun..............
OK if u want more details........
issue the books of botany from the library and read them until u don't get ur result..........
well best of luck.......
