Current kit

- Sony 3 parts separate system (CD player / tuner, Minidisc player, cassette deck) + speakers

Can I replace all of this with speakers that I can slot an ipod into. It must have radio and excellent quality sound. Most speakers that I have found are either without a radio or have a radio but with the speakers bolted on to each other (as in Apple's hi-fi system) so you lose the stereo effect.

Bonus points if the ipod can be digitally connected to a mini system that includes minidisc, CD, and FM radio.

I saw this at one of their stores and it sounded good at a normal level although I did not give it a close look:

Or you can look at a Bose wave radio and get the dual-to-headphone patch cords.

To solve my issue, I bought a pair of Bose Companion 3 speakers for my computer and, even though only 26 watts, it is more than enough volume and rich sound to easily fill my 26' X 12' living room. I use my nano, shuffle, and DVD Player with my computer and even listen to web broadcasts of FM radio stations.

Good luck!

i'm not inspired with the two whilst it is composed of sound high quality. Cambridge Soundworks 720 with ipod dock can do all of it at a lifelike value. in case you are able to swing $ninety 9 the Cambridge Soundworks i525 AM/FM with equipped in pod dock is the greater in a position unit. transport is unfastened. i admire high quality sound, i could never advise a unit that would not have what i could opt for. i wish this helps. appropriate.
