Yahooligans is one. But there are people on these sites from around the world... What type of Pen Pal you want, determines where to go. There are also soldiers deployed all over the world that would love to have a pen pal....any age, they like to know someone cares about them...contact any lilitary installation for information on "write a soldier" programs.
Warning don't lok to AOL chat and Yahoo Chat etc, because they tend be adult oriented. Make sure any chatline you look at for a pen pal, is designed for kids.

You moron.........DON'T!!! There are a lot of predators and that is a bad idea! If it is you, you will be in big trouble and if it is for someone else......more trouble. Have you watched the Dateline series of programs dealing with internet predators who prey on young girls?? If you have not seen it, you had better watch it and that will change your mind!

Its not safe to do it that way. Ask at the childs school they have penpal schemes running with other schools.
