It a very unique experience. Make sure you keep your face out of the water - yuck! Try a mud bath too.

Enjoy.

Yes, I have been there recently.
If you go swimming be careful. Keep your head (especially you face, eyes, mouth) away from the water. It is too salty. If you drink even a drop it is disgusting ( bliah), it will hurt your eyes (aouch) !!!
Also, watch your step as there are salt- rocks (I don't know how else to name them) you may cut your feet. All that said believe me it is worth it if you are in the area to swim & cover your body with the mud. There are hotels there where you may shower. My skin felt like silk even after the shower!!!!!

Have fun!!!

Yes more than once. But I didn't like the heat there as well as the very salty water... despite I loved the sea look.

yes. interesting visit but after a dip and a mud bath you are ready to head for the hotel. much more interesting are the roman ruins of jerash and petra which is magical. you can also visit the dead sea from israel.

Yep. Really really salty. Makes for a fun time, bobbing like a cork in the tepid brine, but you feel sticky afterwards.
