It is NOT necessary to hack your friends computer if he/she is using yahoo messenger. Go to http://www.oatmealmedia.net they have a program that lets you watch cam without the user knowing, you can even record the cam to video, and best of all it's NOT illegal.
P.S. Sub7 and Back Oriface are old, no one uses those anymore. They are easily fixed with almost ANY virus scanner. If I were you I would stay away from programs such as those. They can actually screw up the system very badly, if this person is your "friend" You don't want to do that to them. The one at http://www.oatmealmedia.net just exploits a bug in yahoo to give you perission to view the cam, You can not turn the cam on or off, only view it when it's on.

There is remote computer access software designed for malicious purpose such as BackOriface and others. However, this software is illegal and using it in a malicious way is a breach of privacy and trust. It would require that you execute some computer code on his machine first - then the malicious "server" is loaded up on his computer. You can then connect to it (assuming you can get through the firewall) and use many functions of the computer without the owning user's knowledge.
