If you actually look at pregnancy .. it is 10 LUNAR months, meaning 10 full moons will pass before the baby comes. Your midwife should know this!!!!
Also, if you do the math.. 4 weeks in a month + 10 months = 40 weeks. This is possible as I had a 41 week pregnancy.
Stop stressing bout cheating and enjoy your last moments freedom before you are tied down to diapers, bottles and burpings.
Good Luck!!

Pregnancy is 40 weeks from the last period that is really about 10 months but they say 9 because that's about normal but if you calculate 40 weeks its ruffly 10 months depending on the time and if its been counted in weeks or months, If you are worried there is a few things you can do on-line by checking her due date there is a site that will estimate the due date and the date of conception, its only an estimate but it might put your mind at ease, If your are unsure and really want to know there is always a DNA test once baby is born. I hope all is well and everything runs smoothly for you, try the calculator before going to DNA testing just as an estimate. Good luck

Sometimes babies are born a little late, but I have never heard of a woman actually telling a father that her pregnancy was going to last a month longer than usual. That would raise a red flag for me.
She could, of course, have misunderstood, and think that a 40 week pregnancy is 10 months long.
Don't bother with a Lie Detector test, get a DNA test after the baby is born.
Good Luck!

Pregnancy is actually,a 10 month period anyway,we often forget the first month as we (blokes) never know when she actually caught.
Even women have made mistakes about when conception happened.
Apart from that,if you have been there for this long, you should know by now when she lies or tells the truth, and should give her the benefit and love her and the child as your own.
The true test would be a DNA test, rather than a lie detector,as long as you employ a reputable firm to do it,as there is a lot of scams out there.

Aha! So she told you she was pregnant.... That means she lied to you first, telling you she was pregnant THEN found out she was pregnant a month later and is now telling you 10 months.
She would never know if she was going to go over the 9-month mark in advance. I don't think these people read your question very carefully!
Yeah, she lied to ya. DNA testing when the baby is born would be a good thing...IF you don't want to pay child support for 18 years for a child that's not yours. Good Luck.

Yes it is possible. When people say 9 months that can mean nine complete months which would make the due date the start of the 10th month.
Some women carry longer as well, it all depends.
If you are not sure, you should have a paternity test but you need to cinsider what kind of relationships you want to create and maintaine with the woman and the child.

The above poster is correct - how could your girlfriend know in advance the baby would be due in 10 months? If you are suspicious, you need a DNA test, not a lie detector test.

I have never heard that one- babies usually get here in 38 to 40 weeks- you can always have a paternity test done- esp if she files for child support and there is question -you may all get the inside in your cheeks swabbed to see who the baby belongs to-fyi- women usually ovulate 10-14 days after her period- so give or take a few days- time will tell- is there a reason to not her - or has she cheated on you before?? Take care-D

Some people figure that 40 weeks is 10 months...they fail to realize that not all months have 4 weeks...Go for DNA testing when the baby is born...then you will know for sure.

u r pregnant for 40 weeks from the first day of your last period, so technically its just over 9 months, u give births in your 9th month.a person can go over till week 42, which makes it a 10 month pregnancy
