Ask your friends and tell them you want proper impartial opinions, not just them saying how good it is

i became truthfully inspired by ability of Stephenie Meyer yet i do no longer intend my artwork to be a youngster romance undertaking. the 1st offical complete draft I truthfully have worked on is comparable yet my 2d piece is unquestionably opposite, that's greater like Narnia. heavily, I went to a e book place at some point and observed a number of of vampire books and novels now. My reaction became...GAH! Being attacked by ability of a vampire vogue! i'm truthfully a techniques over the finished 'Twilight section' purely because of the fact I enjoyed it in the previous the action picture began production and now that's purely a fashion. besides, writing creates a plenty greater advantageous actuality then what we actually see interior the actual worldwide. To me, writing is nearly a dream that i can enter at any time rather whilst i might desire to be on my own. :D

The best way to get a good opinion is to network with local and area writers. Classes at local campuses as well as workshops for writing at the public library and even the art museum can be a great place to start. I would hit campuses that are close to you. Some of the best writing mentors and instructors I had were well-known, published authors in the area.

What you do is you submit a short story to a magazine or post it on a short story website where the readers are able to rate the story. Check the ratings for a cople of weeks and then take critiques or rave to perfect your writing style. Once you have done this you have a set of guidelines to improve the stories you write.

I hate to ‘throw water on a drowning person’, but you really need to consider checking your grammar and spelling; the sample you displayed in your question was horrible….sorry. But, if you have a real need to write, go for it, just use Word w/spell check and grammar suggetions. And, most important, DO NOT let 'us' decide your fate. Where there is a will, there is a way! ;)

Going by your question it can't be too good. On first glance I spotted at least three major grammar and/or spelling errors.

I'd suggest you invest in a dictionary before you even think about showing your work to anyone.

I let likeminded friends read mine, and have had some short stories posted on websites with some good responses. if you're hoping to get it published tho keep the list of people you give it to short and to people you trust implicitly!

Once its written post a copy to yourself recorded delivery and keep it sealed somewhere safe, its a good way of proving its yours in case anyone does try and plagiurise it!

Why don't you start by asking friends and family to read it for you and give you honest opinions - they can be your harshest critics sometimes. If their response is positive, perhaps you could google addresses for publishing houses and just send copies off and you never know, you might get lucky!

An author never reveals what he/she is writing about until it is finished. If you get their opinions before you are done, it may cause you to change what you originally had planned in your book.
