I understand that some police officers have been giveing tickets for obstructing an officer to people using laser jammers. Will this hold up in court? Am I being over worrysome?

If you stay within the speedlimits and or flow of traffic there really is no need for a jammer. Slow it down and you wont have to worry about the police.

+1, it is likely to get you a ticket instead of a warning in traffic matters.
