My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

Homeopathy is a complementary healing system based on "curing like with like". It involves greatly diluting substances (potentising) which ordinarily may or may not cause symptoms, in order to strengthen the body's own healing response to a problem. Homeopathic remedies (potencies) aim to minimise the risk of adverse effects. There are different types that may be used for asthma, such as classical homeopathy (tailored to an individual's symptoms) or isopathy (for example using a dilution of an agent that causes an allergy, such as pollen). The review of trials found that the type of homeopathy varied between the studies, that the study designs used in the trials were varied and that no strong evidence existed that usual forms of homeopathy for asthma are effective. There has been only a limited attempt to measure a 'package of care' effect (i.e., the effect of the medication as well as the consultation, which is considered a vital part of individualised homeopathic practice). Until stronger evidence exists for the use of homeopathy in the treatment of asthma, we are unable to make recommendations about homeopathic treatment.

Homeopathy has no grounding in science whatsoever, i've written huge answers about this before and can't be bothered today, go read up how homeopathy works abd try and figure it out. in homepathic solutions there is not even on enzime of active ingredient, it is the equivelant of one drop of medicine in all the oceans of the world. it only works as a placebo. scientific tests on illness treated with homeopathic medicine showed their cure rate was no better than by chance.

I wouldn't take the chance. I've had a friend die from an acute asthma attack because he couldn't get to his inhaler in time.

Homeopathic medicine isn't exactly a science, near as I can figure. While it has some interesting ideas, if your life is at stake, I think you're better off going with what is tried and true and well researched.

Homeopathy is complete bullsh!t. Do not listen to the pathetic rantings of Soul "Doctor" who is all over the site trying to bolster support for this witchcraft. There is absolutely no scientific basis for the practice of homeopathy. NONE.
