How would you feel to be locked inside a room all day long? Its the same way with the birds. let them be them. You can grow chickens or ducks if you have a farm or so. If you still want to grow birds you can do it by building a birdhouse in your garden and providing it with food and water. see that you dont scare them away.

If you are talking about birds that are wild then I would say yes. The should be free. If you are talking about domestic birds then why would it be wrong? As long as you love and take care of them then I am sure they will love you and be grateful.

Not right, I can say. You may take good care of the birds, but they will be a lot happier when left free.

I was going to get a parrot once but I got a tape recorder instead, it's like a parrot that doesn't fly. At least I won't have to worry about it suddenly leaving, in the name of liberty.
