I doubt eye colour has anytihng to do w/ needing glasses to be honest.
As for sunglasses, I personally think that blue-eyed folks are more likely to need them asd they have lighter eye colour and therefore are less tolerant to sunshine.
Ovbiously, albinos are even worse affected by the sun by any other colour.

I know almost equal amounts of blue eyed and brown eyed people with glasses, but the older ones are almost all brown eyed and are more dependant on glasses. This may be a coincidence

I shouldn't think so as I would imagine world-wide there are more brown eyed people than blue eyed. Most of Africa / Asia / Far East / south American are brown eyed and as are half of the European / Australian / American. Possibly richer countries are more likely to wear glasses as they are more likely to have eye tests than in poorer countries.

Blue eyed people were given genes by the master race....LOL so they would never suffer illnesses until they passed the age of 72...my grandmother lived into her nineties because she was a blue eyed baby maker...she had 12 kids.

i dont think the color matters but the shape of the eye does
a dr told me that astigmatism is the highest in native americans..i also notice a lot of asasin people wearing glasses (both would be brown eyed)

I was told the same thing, apparently blue eyes are meant to be weaker. I think its rubbish though, but I do wear glasses and have blue eyes?

I have dark brown eyes and I cant see off the end of my nose without my glasses on or contacts in.

I can only speak from my own experience but my mum, dad and sister all have brown/green eyes and all wear glasses. I have blue eyes and don't.

I don't think eye color matters in that case, although I have blue eyes and I do wear glasses
