As far as I know Philip Pullman is not from Russia and didn't write this book in russian. whats the point in reading a book, thats probably loses its charme in translation? As a lot of books do? Better read some russian authors, really good one is Tolstoi. Suits everyone who has the time to read this awesome books of him.
