The way it works in most food prep places is this Cooked veggies sealed in fridge - use within 4 days Cooked Meats sealed in fridge - use within 3 days Anything older than that can still smell ok, but not be that great to eat. I never use anything older than 3 days in my fridge.

Try to repair crack with duct tape or similar,, make sure the plastic is dry and at room temperature.

If you're THAT bothered about it, fill it up with some plasticine or blue-tack. It might shrink after a few days, so just whack a bit more in. It'll do until you can buy a new one.

You shouldn't be making crack, even if it is small. It is a highly addictive drug.
