Travelling from Scotland, do you need a travel visa to go on holiday?

No, UK, Canada, and a few other countries have a special arrangment with US that allows the citizens of those countries to travel with passport only...no visa required. Do be advised that if you have ever been convicted of a felony (even if it was suspended and you just paid a fine) that you must let the Clark County Sheriff's office know within 24 hours of arrival in Las Vegas. They won't do anything but take your name...but it's an anti-racketeering law Nevada passed cause they're the number one destination of people on the run from the law.

A Visa Credit Card Yes, but if you are already in the USA, no, you don't need a travel Visa.

If you need a visa to come from Scotland to the U.S., then that's all you need. Once you're in the country, you can essentially move about as you wish.
