or

To change an account password with ms dos
1) While logged onto the computer to an account that has administrative rights, click on Start>Run>and type in CMD.
2) Type in net user then the name of the account then * and press enter. heres an example: net user administrator * or net user "Joe Smith" * . Put the name in quotes if it contains spaces.
3) From there it should ask for a new password.

are you sure the : "A" light or the "caps lock" is not on when you changed your password?

Press the caps lock button and enter your changed password.
Also try your old password. You might not even have changed it because when you type your old password, the caps lock is on so you might not even be able to change you password
