I think it's disgraceul how more and more films are coming out depicting the tragedy. They're in it for the money and that horrifies me, and it should anyone else with any morals.

Yes, and twisting the story to fit political purposes also disturbs me. Path to 9-11 was very slanted, and aired just in time for mid term elections.

The documentary about the fireman done by the French brothers was good, and they just happened to be filming it during 9-11, so there were no ulterior motives involved in the making of that film. There have also been some PBS documentaries that included a lot of real footage and interviews. I don't think they make very much money producing a film for PBS--perhaps that's why those films didn't seem so exploitative.

No more so than the thousands of movies made about the Civil War, the Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Viet Nam et al. Planes crashes, runaway trains, the Holocaust, and the list goes on and on. If you want pictures of pretty trees and flowers, buy a book. I don't go to movies that I don't agree with, therefore they do not get my $$. Probably better to let everyone make their own decisions and not to censor.

Good point - I understand what you are saying and to be honest these people are only in it for the money, but they are also, by bringing out these films keeping 9/11 fresh in everyones mind - better to remember than forget

It's not disgusting at all. Look how many movies/video games/books/TV shows were /are based on the tragedies of war...especially the holocaust.
