I have configured my email in my computer's outlook express. While inward mails are received, outward mails are not transmitted and the following error message is flashed:-

"The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'ramyshar.ramakrishnan@gmail.com'. Subject 'test', Account: 'R Ramakrishnan', Server: 'smtp.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first 18sm108729hue', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78"

Will any of the experts on the subject matter will answer me how to fix this problem ? Thanks raised to the power of infinity.

It seems that you haven't enabled the SSL. Download the Gmail auto configuration tool and it will set it up for you.
