cheap tents are false economy. you will be freezing cold and soaking wet every night. You need a tent with the highest hydrostatic head you can find for your budget, otherwise you will just be wasting your money.

Get Vango Stuff if you can afford it.. I have a few Stormproof USA tents. They are really good. but whatever make you get make sure you get a tent with a separate fly sheet (nylon outerskin) otherwise your basically getting a expensive kids playtent :) and make sure it has a repair kit all good and reputable manufacturers will supply one with all new tents. Iwf it ain't got a kit then it will be a rubbish tent and you'll be cold and wet :P
