In my opinion, hip hop died out in the early to mid-nineties. So who is the greatest old school group? Whodini, Run DMC, Beastie Boys? It could be just an MC, a DJ, whatever.

Public enemy rocked! they were serious about the message they sent while making great beats. having a comic relief guy (flava flav) The great mc (chuck D) and a good supporting cast they were just the best rap group out there.

I think its Dr Dre's original hip hop group NWA as Snoop was in it too and they had some really legendary tunes.
