i finally plucked up the courage to brave the tattooist's needle a couple of years ago, i got a dragon done to symbolize strength, as i was going through a rough time...... anyone else out there got interesting stories about why they got tattoo's, and what they got done ?

I think that any artist worth their salt will tell you that is far to complicated a piece, and that your back would have to be incredibly large to fit in all the detail. I would totally suggest keeping all the elements, but maybe making it into a few tattoos or possible a sleeve or something, otherwise the whole this is going to be a bit hectic. Best of luck with your art though. x

I have a roaring lion's head on my chest - to the left of my heart.
Before it was popular and vogue, before Van Damm's movie, even before I had hair on my chest -
my nickname was Lionheart ... I got the tattoo to represent that.
I drew it myself and had the tattooist apply it to my skin.

that sounds cool. i don't have any but would have a barcode at the top of my back. an ex partner had a stickman pushing a lawn mower on her pubic area
