don't get the hang ups most people have with this. I come from a family of tanners in Mexico. Without the income from the leather and food from the meat, they would starve. Some poeple still die from mal nutrition, no money for medicine and yes diareah. I think most people from cities have not really experienced where food comes from. To them meat come incubes and circles. Has anyone ever killed a chicken or rabbit because you were hungry? People use their fur and leather because not to use it would be waste in mexico.

If you want to wear a leather coat in the US why is that bad? Of you get a coat from a company that you have researched, that does use every part of the animal without torture is that wrong? The same with fur coats.

Cattle, sheep and chickens are bred for human consumption and i don't think people have a big issue with leather shoes, jackets etc unless your a vegan.Mink, fox, leopard skins etc on the other hand are just cruel as people don't eat them and they are killed just for fashion.Fake is best.

Ok I am not a religious person, but a spiritual one. This is where my answer comes from. God put animals on this earth for us to use in many ways. If we do not abuse them and just use the furs I think that it is fine. Many cultures use every part of the animal, the fur, meat, teeth, hooves. Everything. Native Americans did it this way also. But if the animal is killed for only one part of it, no matter what part...it is torture and not right. Human dominance is only going to be dominance if we do not abuse it. Which unfortunately to many humans are abusing this, mostly for their own gain.
So to answer your questions, if the animal is not tortured and the meat is eaten, then it is not wrong.

Yes--given the question in this form--yes. If the animal was killed for food why waste the rest. People who answer no to this must not wear leather shoes or boots etc.

Maybe if it was by nature such as road kill or an animal we eat normally, but to torture or deliberately kill for fur is wrong in my opinion.
