The younger they start, the more immersed they can become. The best way to teach a child anything is to get 'em young.

I think we're back in a guilded age... similar to late 1800s. And I think we've been her since first Bush presidency. Reagan concluded teh Cold War and there hasn't been any "crisis" to sacrifice for.

9/11 was terrible... but Bush didn't ask the American people to sacrifice... and the only thing you see young people (my people) involved with is loony left wing crap.

Maybe its for the better. Our young people are really really stupid and ignorant. Why not wait till their 30s to get involved in politics?

Only if they're well informed and actually know what they're talking about, which most are not, and don't.

Experience: No offense, but I'm kind of young myself and usually it's the adults (not all ofcourse) who I can really talk to about politics because most young people I talk to are usually very ignorant to what they're saying. Usually because they're just repeating what someone else said, not thinking on their own. But then again, a lot of adults do that as well.

Politics should be broken down a bit easier for much younger people and for some idiots (like myself). I wish I woulda gotten involved in it when I was younger.

Young people are typically pretty ill-informed. I'd prefer they stay out of politics and stay home on voting day.

No. I say let it wait until they are in their 30's and out of their liberal phase.
