I have prescription goggles. They aren't that expensive, and you can get really cheap ones for non-prescription, in + or - up to 5 diopters correction. When your correction is built in to the goggle, it just makes life a whole lot simpler. Most swim shops carry them, and some of the swim supply shops at the pools also have them.

Yes it's fine. I've been doing it for years. I can't see without my contacts so I either wear goggles or just keep my eyes closed when I go under water.

Yea its ok, I'm thinking its ok to leave them in even when you aren't wearing goggles. I do and it doesn't really bother my eyes that much and I've never lost a contact lens in the pool, I've had them for three and a half years

Get a pair of prescripted goggle; it's everywhere on the Internet. They come in negative 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and etc. Just get the nearest one.

Ask your eye doctor for googles that have your prescription in them.
