In my opinion, it is too late to correct the situation. Do you know of one MP who would introduce legislation prohibiting the Head Coverings? All that's left is to take a Soap Box to Hyde Park Corner and Complain to the gathered multitude.

the whole thing is stupid. Jack Straw asked a musim lady to take off her veil while they spoke so he could see her face. he said she didnt have to (but it is nice to see someones face when talking.)
then the stupid media decided it was racist and awful and every single english person said it.
for crying out loud it's their RELIGION let them wear the damn veils, and if you ask politely they may take them off while speaking to you.
and now some poor woman might loose her job because she wears her veil in front of male teachers. LEAVE HER ALONE.

How embarassing in kicking their own butts on planet earth.
