My sis and I were watching Gremlins and couldn't remember what kills the evil little guys...I think sunlight was one of the things, but were there others? Thanks!

Well, Stripe was finally done in by bright sunlight. Others ended up in the orange juicer machine, the microwave, burned alive en masse in the movie theatre, I think, and I'm sure Mister Futterman managed to run over a few with his truck.
But water is assuredly not the answer! Must be very careful with mogwai!
1. Keep them out of bright light.
2. Never get them wet.
3. And NEVER EVER feed them after midnight!

Sunlight kills the evil gremlins. Plus actually killing them works too. Remember when they were running them over, the mother put one in the microwave, etc. The water turned them evil (i.e. the swimming pool incident). And feeding them after midnight made them multiply.

They multiply in water so they were lead to the swimming pool and electricuted.
In general the only thing that kills them is bright light.
But, you can shoot them. the problem is it's a kids movie so nobody is carrying weapons.

Water & Sunlight. But electrocution and other sharp objects also worked.

Gizmo opened up a window and zapped them with sunlight. It was pretty gross, actually....
Water made them re-produce. Don't you remeber the swimming pool scene?

Sunlight killed them and with water they reproduced and you weren't meant to feed them after midnight.

sunlight is the main thing that kills them, but one was killed in a blender, another is a microwave

i remember one scene was to spray water all over the ground. then electrify the whole lot of them!!!
water actually made them reproduce! that's bad !

i think it was the flash of a camara as well?? i know that it was the water that made them multiply and go evil
