Brave Service? That's a good one. Kerry served 4 months. He put himself in for Purple Heart medals by going over the head of his commanding officer. The Purple Hearts he was awarded were for wounds that were so inconsequential that they didn't qualify for decorations. He cut and run whenever the action started and he bugged out as soon as he possibly could. Then he ingratiated himself with the wacko anti-war movement by making horrible accusations against the men he served with and his disingenuous protests where he supposedly threw his medals over the White House wall, but actually they were someone else's medals and he forgot to mention that nugget of truth. If his service was so brave, how come his discharge wasn't issued until the late 80s and how come he refuses to unseal his records? Is there more stuff in there that he's been ashamed to put on the table? The guy's a liar and a loser.

you dont get elected by being desirving, Kerry did serve in Viet Nam , he wasn't a hero unless all of us who served were, he did however have the courage to go, which is much more than oops forgot to show for guard duty Wubba did. I served 13 months and ten days in Viet Nam as a US Marine, I hold a purple heart, and a bronze star, did that mean I zigged when I should ofzagged, probably so, but thats what happens in war, people get killed and maimed, and it takes courage to go, not to duck out or evade. In my view the last two presidents evaded the war, while I think Clinton was a good president and Wubba a poor one, that is based upon the issues as I see them not on wartime service

No one has the right to be president. While Kerry's service should have been a plus when he ran against W, Rove and co. managed to make it a liability. Just like they did with McCain.

I wouldn't support Kerry again because of his poor showing against Bush and his inability to articulate an idea. While I hate the simplicity of Bubba Bush, Kerry could make paint drying seem interesting.

Have you had government class yet? I will try to educate you. How are presidential elections decided? It depends on who wins the largest number of electoral votes. The source below explains the election process in America.

Kerry served dangerous, volunteer duty on swift boats patrolling the Mekong Delta. They were constantly under threat of attack by sniper-fire. Being a war veteran is a plus, but not a requirement for the office of Commander in Chief (the President is officially the commander of all the military, but he need not have military experience).

After Kerry laid down in the last election, no dem will want him. He and Dubbya are both "Skull and Bones" under Dubbya's dad. This isn't a good start and it does not bode well for those who want a change from the present regime.
