Yap...
Definitely a shock treatment has to be given to VSehwag for the lack of seriousness in playing International Matches...

While monitoring each match we can see the easy or leave it attittude of Sehwag that results him failure to failure in recent matches. He has to role Sachin Tendulkar or Lara or Ponting, the way they approach each match as a new one. That shows their dedication shows not only to their team but to the Nation they represent and millions of people who love this game.

So the neglecting attittude definitely deserves a drop as disciplinary measure...

To the best of my knowledge, he has not committed any act of indiscipline. If you are referring the way he got out, I agree that it was a rash shot and absolutely not necessary at that stage of the game. If you have watched the match yesterday, you may have noticed that Dhoni also was out for a rash shot when restraint was required and there was absolutely no necessity for such shots.

However, one should understand that they are natural stroke players and sometimes cannot control their aggression. If the shot played by Shewag and Dhoni were resulted in boundaries everybody would have applauded them. That is cricket.

I am not at all trying to justify both of them. It is high time they
first study the pitch and bowling and go for big shots only when it is required and try to play with patience and restraint, which will do a lot to their carreer in cricket. Whenever anybody gets out to such rash shots they should be severely reprimanded by the Captain and Coach privately.

We cant blame Viru for this mistake, he goes for silly shot n thats his natural game. Its a mistake by Rahul playing a spoilsport with Chappel in changing up the batting line up n losing the confidence of Viru.

Viru needs to be given a rest for a while since most of the time he is taking rest in the pavilion. Let him learn his mistakes by playing in domestic cricket or appearing in county.

Yes of course. He does not understand the seriousness of international cricket and treating it all as a joke. He should be dropped and Robin Uthappa should be selected in his place. Atleast, he scores some runs, even though not in boundaries.
