It is manageable if you get anxious or worried but still are able to function properly, physically.

I'd call it not manageable if, for example, it gives you constant diarrhea, or you throw up all the time because you're anxious, or you can't sleep. That is bad for your body for sure. You should get help before it get that bad.

if you are still able to make every day decisions. once you can't do that...it's time to take a vacation
