Every person is different. My cycle was so eratic that I went on the "Mini-pill" so that I would have normal cycles. If you are just starting your periods, then they tend to be all over the place for about a year and a half. If you have been getting your cycles for over two years and they are still random, talk to your doctor about birth control pills to straighten out your cycle.

That all sounds normal. While you may read that "28 days" is the length of a cycle, that means 28 days from the first day of bleeding until your NEXT first day of bleeding.
Many women's cycles are not totally regular, though, especially within the firs 3-4 years of menstruating.
Bleeding time can be anywhere between 2-7 days, with 4-5 days being pretty average.
