I am a rated USCF Expert. If I had to recommend a single website for improving one's chess, it would be http://chesscafe.com/
Each month, the site contains over a dozen columns, some written by very strong Grandmasters, aimed at players over a wide range of levels. Furthermore, archives are available of all the columns ever published on the site. I would suggest that you first read "Novice Nook", "Scholastic Chess", and "Opening Lanes" and if these turn out to be too basic, then read "Susan Polgar on Chess", "Endgame Corner", "The Instructor", and "Inside Chess". Finally, there is the column "Informant @ChessCafe.com" for very advanced players. It may take some time to determine which column(s) is your favorite, but I guarantee that you will find several that are both interesting and informative (and don't forget about the archives - if you find a column that you really like, reading all the past articles for that column could keep you busy for weeks).
