We have learned that the earth has four main compositional zones... the crust is the outer part of the planet and is made up of mostly solid rock and extends about 5-15km deep into the earth's interior. next you get to the mantle which is also mostly solid but flowing rock. this is the largest part of the earth's interior and is rich in silicates and oxygen (much like the crust). deeper still is the outer core which is composed of liquid (molten) metals like iron, magnesium, and lead... in the very center of the earth is the core of solid metal made up of mostly lead and iron.
hope that answers your question.

They theory the plate stream became led to by using lava and not water by way of fact the discovered volcanoes spitting lava so the layer under the crust is greater mantle. The decrease mantle spits the better mantle to vulnerable mountains. they did not even experience the image voltaic wind which potential it includes the ionosphere by way of outer middle. the indoors middle is an element to the middle which helps outer middle so it could generate the magnetic field (ionosphere).

There are several other waves like pp,ss, and other several reflected and refracted waves this will help them to know the physical condition of earth layers.

S-waves are transverse waves which cannot travel through liquids. S waves cannot travel through the outer core so we know it must be liquid.
