Like u cant do an assignment, or u look back at papers you've typed in the past, and a part of you questions urself if u really did it. Like a case of nostalgia I guess.

You are 'out of touch' with yourself. You have numbed out. Try saying, "I can't... I this and that..." Use of "I" statements suggests 'ownership'. You've been feeling so much of your past that you are emotionally 'stuck' there (in today's slang, 'zoned' or 'spaced out'). Nostalgia is ok if you can get out as soon as you need to, if you're about to cross the street, and you're still on 1985, you've just seen 2006 zip past you, euphemistically.
