it will be a week today at 3:08 pm since anyone talked to my husband when he said he was coming home within 2-3 hours.He called me the day before our anniv and said he would get a hold of me in a couple of days it now is going onto the 6 th day.I am wondering how long does it take sort things out in his mind about him and i,and why he has not called me.no one in his immediate family will give me a honest answer where he is or a number i can reach him at.I only have his cell number and he does not answer it.and does not have voice mail Lost in love -in michigan

That's some strange stuff there.I'm sure you have a police report in..I mean after 2 days it would become an issue, I surely hope he does come home and after you hug him and kiss him and make sure he's alright , hit his a@@ over the head with an Iron Skillet !! You can find the good ones in the camping section at any family store... I feel your pain in Michigan too..Keep your head up and hope for the best !!!If you find out his family new where he was all of this time cut them out like the plague !!!

It sounds to me like he may have someone else and sleeping with you keeps his foot in the door. Either he isnt done playing or he likes the benefits of marriage ie. sex, but doesnt want the committment. If he didnt want you to walk away, he would say, I just need more time or something to let you know he is worth waiting for...Hes not doing that for you honey, its time to move on. Sometimes, when I am looking for a good answer, all I have to do is pretend my best friend is me, going through what I am going through. What I would tell her to do may be different than what I do for myself, but if you take a long hard look at his signs and signals, you would tell your best friend to give this loser his walking papers, and find yourself a man who can give it to you every night because he is there, with you, where he wants to be!!! Tell him not to worry about coming home, that you made his decision easy for him, you decided you didnt want him to!! Good Luck

At almost a week I would be calling the police. Ask his family for a contact number again or if they have heard from him. If they are still sidestepping you - tell them you are calling the police. That will straighten them out if they are hiding things from you. If they are still no help, file a missing persons report.

You need to check his ***. Where did he say he was going and did he get dressed up?Maybe he found a girl and he is at a motel why don't you call the bank and check where he last used a credit card or call his phone company and check his location. If he has a cell phone you can do that.

Sounds like he may be avoiding you...give him some room or call the police. If he is ok, that's pretty rude of him to just tell you he's on his way and not show up. Tell him to be a man about it and let you know whats bothering him.

at this point the question becomes what do you do about it, not what will he do. Trot on down to your local divorce attorney in the morning and get yourself organized so you're protected. That'll get back to him and "sort his mind out" real quick. Open you a bank acct and trnsfer any joint money into it.

I don't quite understand.....if nobody has heard from him and he's not answering his cell phone, call the police and report him missing.
You must be terribly worried. It's pretty unfair for him to do this to you.

Ha my hubby done that to me, the exact thing. He was stayinng with a girl, for a week, just have sex with her, he didnt try to contact me, then he just shows up, out of the blue, and told me that he has been cheating....he did the same as your hubby done.
