Last month I had my period but 4 days before it I was spotting alot which was a first for me. This month I should not have my period for another 7 days but I have it now? What could be causing this? My periods are normally regular. I am also on the pill is that makes any difference.

Well I used to take the pill a long time ago so I was regular to the day. Although, I am also a 29 year old female and I just had the same thing happen to me on my last period. I am very regular either every 28 to 31 days...This last one I had, the normal PMS symptoms that I normally have but I spotted on the first couple of days before I really started. Honestly I think it may be either a stress thing or maybe because of the age that I am at my body is just doing different things. I really wouldn't worry about it but if you are worried call your doctor. If not just wait and see how your next period is. Hope I was a little helpful.

Nothing to worry abt this. Sometimes some variation in days can be seen in some ladies. It can be due to pills you are are having or sometimes it can be due to some pschycological factors also.If this happens next month also or you have the bleeding more than 5-6 days this month , better consult some good gynaecologist.

I haven't had this problem, but I would seek your local doctor to make sure everything is ok. It might be the pill you are on. If you have changed your eating habits that may have an effect as well.
