What if a company actually came out with an artificial intelligent wife/husband.........?

that you could program to your every day needs and wants, would you buy one and divorce you spouse considering that it would not actually think on it's own or provide you with the emotional support that a human could, but could please you in every other way?

No way! No emotional support? what good would that do? Besides, if you program it to do everything you want, I think you would start to expect everything to go your way.
