Peter Cech will not get a place in the starting line up when he regains his fitness, John Terry will take his place.

I don't think so. It's all over the news that his condition is stable now and shuld be fit within 6 months to play again.

part of the news excerpt is as follows:

"Chelsea goalkeeper Peter Cech has had a "successful" operation for a depressed fracture of the skull.

The 24-year-old Czech Republic international underwent surgery after being transferred to a specialist neuro-surgical unit at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford."
"The operation was successful but it is too early to give an accurate assessment of his condition," a club statement said ""

"Cech should sit it out for six months "

i just found out about it and i think it's horrible. i like this guy!!!! apparently, he underwent surgery for the skull fracture and he's supposed to be in stable condition. that reading guy is supposed to have been caught on video laughing (?!!!) after the incident and chelsea officials are reportedly contemplating bringing their "observations" (that the act may have been intentional) to the attention of FIFA for disciplinary review.
