i think all GP are different i know with simple pregnancy test some doc have the result right away and some send them away usually the results are back between 1~7 days i recently went for a blood test and my result were back in 6 days, your best bet would be to ask your own GP surgery what the time lenght is!

Whether they take your blood in their office or in the lab it only takes less than an hour for the results but doctors love making you wait & they end up making you another appointment to come back for the results (for money, think about it cause that is another visit and another office fee)
When i wanted to see if i was pregnant (didn't want to wait to take a home test) i went to the ER and complained of being sick right.... Well i asked for a blood test to see if i was pregnant and the results came back and i knew within 30 minutes.
If you are going to be testing for pregnancy go to http://www.peeonastick.com and there is all the answers to preg. tests and a link to buy at home tests that show you are pregnant 6-8 days after conception.

Why does he not just do a urine test? The results for that is immediate!
Think that blood tests takes a while longer.

Get in there early in the AM, the lab picks the blood up and normally you can get them the next day. To help you pass time, take a PG Test

Not staright away but usually within a day depending on how quick the doctor sends the sample to the lab.

generally about an hour depends on th pathologist, make an appointment for the morning just before lunch, go and have lucnh do a spot of shopping then go back for the results

oh hunni im so relieved 4 u chick, i became thinking of u all day yday and tues, i'm hoping ur ok hun and im happy little bump is doing nicely xxx I certainly have a test on 1st could so i think of my twenty 6th november toddler will exchange yet may be great if we nevertheless had an analogous date lol xxxx and of curse the being pregnant will flow nicely xxx
