You lost all income, your home, everything you own, no one would hire you and you were forced to live in the streets...How would you survive? Do you have enough street smarts to get what you need, the basics(food, drink and somewhere to sleep)? Explain what you would do to survive. You also have a family to worrie about and feed.

I know whats its like , I found myself in that exact situation a few years back and I kept true to myself , I never gave up and i did everything i could leagally do to make money. Above all I prayed.
I stayed away from shelters (wich will detsroy you if its over packed or sourounded with drugs). I camped out in tents a lot , I satyed away from risky activties and people. I didn;t let anything stand in my way. I kept my priority's straight. I'm not that old either I'm only 25 and i managed. Most of all learn the difference between NEED and WANT

Wow, this is a really hard question to answer..... I have absolutely no idea what would I do to survive with my son. But I think I will seek place to stay and food from shelter first and try to stay there as long as I can. While I'm staying, I will try to get some help form people at shelter (who organizing shelters) for an advise how to get myself some sort of employment so I can help myself and my family. I know there are lots of people who are already in this types of situation.... This really made me realize how fortunate I am to having basic necessity in my life.

What a question??? I am with my hands. With that i can clean the cars which those are parked in the apartment. By supporting the elders who are alone in the apartments. Buying needy things for them. Providing services like paying bills for telephone, electricity etc...

What a sad and scary situation.Before i let things get to that stage, I would call friends and ask for aid.
I would call shelters and ask for aid.
I would apply for welfare, or some sort of government assistance.

I think I would commit a crime and go to jail. Get food and shelter, that is what is the most important.
