Wach the News weather forecasts for that area. CNN does that I think. If you weren't born there or don't live in a warm part of the world that is with a temperature 25C or more. Im not sure if you would consider it bad. But, some people seem to die from too much heat. Bring a black or dark coloured umbrella and use it when walking in the Sun lit areas. Wear dark coloured shirts. So as to block the radiation form making 100% contact with your skin surface. Especially, if you plan to walk across big areas during the day. Don't forget to carry at least 2 L of water with you. I also advise you to bring some funnels. Incase you get lost. If you go into more remote or wilder places. This way you can collect rain water into your bottles when it rains. Wachout for tarantulas, scorpions and rattle snakes. Always tilt your shoes upside down and shake them before putting on your shoes in the morning. Or just stuff some rolled up socks into them and tighten the shoes with the laces. So as to cover the opening completely. Before gong to bed. Don't wear bright red colours like red, yellow orange clothes during the day. It attracts bees.Especially, killer bees. These bastards don't quit until your dead. Bees, snakes and mosquitos see in the infrared part of the spectrum. So,you want to make yourself as incognito to these creatures as possible. I also advise you to bring some kind of beekeepers head protection hat. You might just be by a resort. But, if you're near some colourfull plants that are being polenated by bees and they smell the fruit juices oozing down your face from the watermelon or canteloupe you're munching on. They will strike. So,weather is just one of the things you should be worrying about or prepared for. Carry the provisions I advised you to take with you. When you go out into the more remote areas. I advise you to never go anywhere alone. Especially,if you're a woman. But, you might want to carry some kind of handy ninja key chain and a sharp dagger or steel needle. I don't want to scare you. But, the world is a less safe place. If you're not prepared. When I went to Mexico one time. To a supposedly family friendly type of resort. There were Mexican men sitting naked in the bushes when I was walking farther away from the resort down the beach. I found this disturbing. So, I picked up a decently massive rock for one hand and a shell for the other incase they had any intentions of coming too close and walked by them and away from them. But,then these two women walked that way. They took off their bikini tops as they passed me. Obviously, sex tourists. So, those men were prostituting themselves to women. But,then this family a man his wife and two kids were walking my way. I stoped the man and told him what was awaiting them down the beach. So,he thanked me and turned back with his family. It's Mexico. Even the family resorts are filthy. That all happened in the Cancun Mayan Riviera Resort area. Where you're headed.

I live in Cancun. Right now during the day it's in the high 80's and at nigh low 80's. Great beach weather. Sometimes it gets a bit windy. There are also a few showers but don't worry. Here in Cancun when it rain's it last only for a short while. Other than that the weather here is great all year long.

I went three years ago (nov.1) and the weather was pretty good. It was hot and humid but nothing horrible. It did rain on three days. Mostly at night. During the day it rained for about an hour but then it seem like nothing had happened. It was windy at night on almost every night. If you travel outside the cancun area you will find that the weather is different. We went to Coba and it was nice but when we got to cancun it had been raining.

I've been there the first week of Nov (not last year) and the weather was great! Sun and no humidity! We swam the ocean and pools as well as went snorkeling to Puerto Morales, a small fishing village. You can bring a sweatshirt just in case, but we wore shorts or skirts the whole week....ok and bathingsuits! Pack the sunscreen and sunglasses and have a great time!
