Ok, so i was due for my period on the 11 of this month. I had my period last month on the 11th but it was shorter than normal. And I haven't gotten my period yet this month which makes me like 5 days late. I'm worried because I'm usually never late. And I don't know whether/how I should tell my boyfriend. I know he won't flip out, leave, or get mad. I just don't want to worry him if it's not neccesary you know?? Is It too soon to take a pregnancy test or too soon to worry?? So many questions ... And I know half of you are gonna say just take the test but I don't wanna do it alone. I'd rather have him with me.. but that leads back to my original question. Someone help please .. Thanks a bunch. Serious help only please...

okay...1st off.........try not to worry! I know that sounds difficult, but worrying CAN CAUSE you to be late. I believe they make
pregnancy tests which can detect pregnancy as soon as 7 days
after your expected period...but there may be ones available for
you to use NOW. Call your local PHARMACY ...they should be able to tell you which one has the earliest response time. GOOD
LUCK!

Tell him that your period is a little late and you want to take a preg test to check. He should be with you when you find out. Talk about protection for all future sex! You don't want to go thru this every month! And I'm sure he doesn't.
Also know that worrying about possibly being late can make your body tense and make you even a little more late. My doctor years ago told me that tension and stress can make your ovaries hold onto the egg for days or 1-2 weeks longer than they usually do. Use protection every time from now on or stop having sex. I'm from the "old school" and say sex is for married couples. When you are married, these late months aren't so scary.

Well, you can ask him to be there when you take the test, but if it comes out negative, then you worried him for nothing and it could cause issues in the relationship. Not sure how long you have been together, etc.
I would take the test. Buy two, so if it comes out positive, then you can take it again when he's home and show him the result and tell him that you have something to show to him. Make sure you get the tests that say the words PREGNANT, NOT PREGNANT. It's easier all around if things are spelled out. In my first pregnancy, I took 5 tests and didn't believe any of them. Finally I went and bought a test with the words and it sunk in.

Well if you are scared to tell your b/f then maybe he isnt the one to be sticking around. And if he does leave cause u say you are pg, then he was so not worth the effort. I was 16 when I got pg with my first child, and I let him know and he waited for me to take the test, which I took EPT the first day I was late. Then together we had to figure out what we were going to tell our parents. Now I have a beautiful 10 year old son and another son coming this week.
Just remember, relationships are about honesty also, and if thats not there its not going to work out!
Wish ya the best

Tell him. You should not have to go through this alone. You should be able to tell by now with a home pregnancy test so you should have your answer soon so he won't have to worry long. You are a considerate lady but this does concern him too. I hope you get the answer you are hoping for and I hope I have been some small help to you. I will say a prayer for you. May you be blessed every day of your life.

well if you don't want to worry him over nothing just take the test alone and then tell him if you're pregnant. I don't know how old you are so maybe this is something you already know, even if you're not preggo you should have a serious talk with your boyfriend about the possible consequences of your actions, have you discussed accidental pregnancy with him? don't just assume he'd act a certain way if you were to get pregnant, actually find out directly from him, just to be safe and have a plan.

If I were you and you think you are pregnant then I would tell him. just tell him that you think you are but you arent sure. Then tell him you want to take the test but dont want to go through it alone. Most guys will be there. If last months period was shorter then normal then you can take one now but you can also wait a few days then take it. EPT You can take up to 7 days after your missed period. Thats what I use. Good luck to you.

well as they say, you did it together, so now face it together. this is the best time to check also how much he is truly in love with you, if he is willing to go and hav this test with you.nways, give it till the end of the week before u ask him to go with you and see a doctor for the test. sometimes, our period is delayed due to stress, medication or other factors. you may choose to tell him now that your period is delayed but you have to get that pregnancy test later after a week to make sure. good luck!

Let him know so that you won't have to take the test alone. This might be the reality check you need to decide where this relationship is going. If you are pregnant, decide if you love each other enough to raise it together, or if adoption is right for you. Good luck!

I think you should tell your boyfriend, because this is a big thing. Also, u might not be. I think dudes should know if there g/f is pregnant or think they are because it can make your relationship closer ( well it did for my friend even though it was a false alarm) Also, u wouldn't be the only one who is worried, u can be worried together!
