I know that in America adolescents that have been legally emancipted , or have parental permissions may be married.

In the past people got married quite young. My Great Gran was married when she was 12 and my Great Gandad was 14.

My Aunt was 14 , my uncle 40 (parental permission)

in some countries, yes children can get married. Theyre usually sold by thier parents though. polygamists (A man with many wives) often take on new wives that are underage. Polygamy is illegal (atleast in the united states) and so is marrying children.
