Get a lot of sleep. For your diet start eating:
1. Lots of pasta.
2. Lots of peanut butter or peanuts (if you are not allergic).
3. Dried fruit like cranberries and pineapple -- lots of calories and concentrated carb's.
4. Drink a glass of real fruit juice with every meal -- lots of calories and it will not make you feel bloated when eating normally.
In general, you have to increase your normal calorie intake.

Yes, but it's bad for your heart and health. It could lead to bowel cancers, heart disease etc. Get "fat" the healthy way, eat vegetables and fruit. And don't be active. Some people can't gain weight because they got their intestine removed (not sure if it's the lower or upper). Why would you wanna get fat?
