OOPS. I hope you and your fiance are ready because you might just be preggers! Your odds are about 50/50 as the other answers have said. My advice is not to stress over it. Not all women ovulate on the same cycle so it's anyone's guess right now. If you dodge the bullet remember this scare the next time passion over rules your brain!! Best wishes sweets, Many blessings and I truly hope this turns out the way you want it to.

Well, the odds are 50/50 - but you won't be able to know for certain for awhile yet. Even with the early detection pregnancy tests you can get a false negative. Generally there isn't a false positive when doing those tests. I would suggest you wait another week or so and try a home pregnancy test. If it comes up negative, then I would wait and see if your next period comes on time. If it doesn't, I would test again.

Ovulation "usually" occurs between day 12 to 16. So, if you had sex on day 8 and sperm can live up to 5 day (max) or 3 days (normally) then you are inside the range. It could happen.
You can't take a pregnancy test until 4 days prior to your period if you get an early detection pregnancy test.

hello dear. check with an ob-gyn re period if your period it is on regular basis. i used to follow this guide from my period and cycle. i have menstrual period every month and from the first day of the period i count 1st, til 13th or 15th day it is suppose to be safe before your next ovulation, but cylcles change in response to stress, medication or other factors and sometimes your first day of mesntruation are sometimes delayed. so to make it very safe, what i do from day one of menstruation til the 10th me and my partner dont do withdrawal and no rubber. after that, we do withdrawal. you may also check it out with an ob-gyn. now that you are active in your sexual life, you have to check with the ob-gyn, and also have pap smear once a year. she is your best help.

ummm...sorry to say HIGHLY LIKELY!! You would be at just about the PERFECT TIME to concieve. That time is from 1 week after the end of your period to about 1 week before you
expect your menstral cycle to begin...GOOD LUCK!
