I would highly recommend the Samsung SGH A990 by Verizon. It has a terrific camera module, and unique messaging features like

1/ handwritten messaging (you scribble your message on a piece of paper, take a picture of it and boom! the phone cleans it up and there you have a nice piece of handwriting, black on white, as if you had written on the screen...) -- they call it sketch message

2/ postcard messaging : same idea but here you annotate / comment an existing picture with personal notes before sending it.

This phone also has good music and video capabilities, I recommend it though it might be a little pricey.

All depends on what you expect from it...

Good luck in your search !

I have a Samsung E530 and I love it. I love the colour, the shape, the ringtones and the skin types. It's got a pretty good camera on it, nice clear screen and the mp3 player isn't bad. It doesnt hold that many songs, but the sound quality is excellent. I've had no problems with it so far and have owned it for over 6 months.
