A click or crack is often heard when a joint is moved or stretched. When the pressure of the synovial fluid in the joint cavity is reduced, this may create a gas bubble and generate a popping sound. The sound may also be the result of separating the joint's surfaces, which releases the vacuum seal of the joint.
We all have something that pops.....

Maybe exercise would help, it helps most things.
Sometimes my joints clicked from being a little kid. So dont worry about it. Dont start thinking yourve got arthritis or rhumatism or something lol.
Everyone has a joint they can make click, or that clicks often.
As to why they click ???? Maybe needs some regular exercise : )

It's just lack of fluid between the joints that cause the bones to touch when moving. It can get painful and cause arthritis as you age. My husbands ankle clicks when he walks and I like it because there is no way he can sneak up on me. When I hear that "clicking" I know he's coming, he hates it.

Most likely early arthritis setting in. Can you try some supplements like MSM to see if that works? Ex-athletes like that stuff. Also, Joint Juice tastes pretty good (Sam's Club) but be careful if you are allergic to shellfish bc it's made out of shrimp shells but it tastes very carbonated, fizzy, and like oranges.

Most likely it is tendons sliding over your bones. My shoulders often pop when I'm lifting weights.
