Always, every single time. There are certain songs for certain people in my life that whenever I hear them, I think of those people. It's good to know that this affects others as well.

Yes. I think one would have to be a most unusual person for music/memory association not to happen. Perhaps if they were deaf, or somehow had the misfortune to grow up in an environment that did not have access to radio/music.

Lately I think about a song called "If I could turn back time" by Cher, which is quite odd, I'm not much of a Cher fan.

It definately does. I think that is why we are so fond of music. Sadly I remember what sort of song was on when 'x' happened. Being a journalist I kept up with news events so when anything bad happened and I heard about it on the radio I relate that song to that happening. Also when I hear of any family members that have died - that song that was on always triggers me.

Unfortunately I don't remember many of the happy songs.

Music triggers tons of memories for me, especially since my dad passed away. He was a small time D.J. when I was a kid and we ALWAYS had something playing in our house! Music was a huge part of our lives. I learned to deal with my emotions through music thanks to my dad. There are certain songs I hear that remind me of when I was young. Music is great therapy!

Yes. With certain songs I always remember friends I had and people I hung out with because I played those specific songs while they were in my life.

Music ALWAYS gives me flashbakes, and good or bad, it's nice to have those memories brought back by something as great as a song planted deep into your memory.

Yes. No matter where I am, if an old song comes on the radio, it really takes me back.

Absolutely. Sometimes it's like an instant time warp. And an instant mood changer, so it triggers emotions too.
