I will attend anyone's wedding who I love, gay or straight. I support them and their decisions.

Do you mean a tragic love story or a love that transcends the odds, even death? Whatever your meaning, there is no problem with 'gay weddings' it is a celebration of commitment and happiness, just as any other wedding is.
