you should try doing that "smokey" look with black or dark gray. Line the inside and outside of your eyelids with black eyeliner. Clean up any mess ups with a Q-tip and soften the eyeliner up a little with the q-tip. Then use a short bristled stiff eyeshadow brush dipped in black or even a dark gray and go over the eye liner with it. Using the eye liner first helps the shadow stick better and last longer all day. Clean up any messes like before. Then if you need to you can use a longer bristled soft eye shadow brush with nothing on it and blend the black a little better just to soften it up a bit more. Don't forget to always use a "highlighter". This is a light colored shadow (either matte or froste/shimmery...something like an offwhite or even flesh toned) that you use for your brow bone. You may want to apply the highlighter first before all the black. The highlighter makes your eyes look more "put together" otherwise you might look "goth"...or just too intense. Just start with a thin lining of the dark shadow until you get more comfortable with it and learn what you looks best on you...either a light lining or a more intense thicker lining. You should definately go to a MAC store or counter or even Lancome and ask them to do that look for you. They're always more than willing to teach people how to put make up on.

Brown colours make u look older...i hav blue eyes and i usually go with a emerald green... it makes my eyes stand out...and look amazing...especially with black eyeliner....
U can do it 2 ways:
White all over the lid (lightly)...or a champagne colour...with the green on the lower lid...with black eyeliner on the top and bottom eyelid..
or..white all over the eyelid (lightly) ...black eyeliner on the top lid and half way across the bottom lid from outer edge in...then mix ur green shadow with water or eyeliner activator...and put a thicker line above the black eyeliner on the top lid...
This will bring alot of emphises on ur blue eyes :)

A darker duller blue or brown. The idea is to draw attention to your eyes not your shadow.

Blue colour eyes need not wear any other colour. However, dull blue will sharpen your bluish eyes.
