I really do not like my job at the moment, and I want to know if it's necessary to still give in 2 weeks notice if you haven't finished your 3 months probation. I don't have a problem finding jobs at all, but I'm professional about all my jobs so I have no problem giving in this 2 weeks notice. Plus I'm not one to just walk out and leave. This is the first time I've left anywhere without staying a significant amount of time. Please help!! Thanks.

Now what is important is that what is your total professional experience?
If you have just about 2-3 years exp then its ok if you just skip all formalities and leave even on a days notice as there is no requirement of a notice period during probation from both the sides. If the company can chuck you without notice then why cant you leave without notice.

However if you already have a reputation in the market and have put in say about 8-10 years in professional life...then please be careful in hopping like that....
all the best!

A two weeks notice is not an entitlement. If the environment is a hostile environment, there is no need for a two weeks notice. A two weeks notice is something that management earns.

you should always give a 2 weeks notice..If you don't the company can give your next employer a bad performance review and that could make it harder to get your next job.
